Metro: Last Light Redux already contains the four story-and-challenge packs from the 2013 game. If a store page tries to sell you a Last Light season pass on top of Redux, you do not need it.
Four packs, nine missions

The official Steam description confirms that Redux includes the original DLC and Ranger Mode. The nine-mission breakdown and achievement mapping here come from the S30 Steam community guide, not a newly tested menu walkthrough. Redux has nine mission achievements plus 40 main-game achievements, not the old 2013 pack trophy total.
Which extra mission should you choose?

Access and achievement planning
Launch the extra missions from your build's extra-mission/DLC area rather than look for them in the 30-level story chain. Menu labels vary, so no untested button-by-button path is promised here. You do not need to complete these missions to reach D6. For all achievements, plan one task per extra mission; the names are on the achievement checklist.
Do not buy a 2013 Season Pass to add these missions to Redux. Last Light Complete Edition is a different release that also bundles the original DLC; it returned to permanent GOG sale in May 2026 according to 4A Games. See Redux vs Complete Edition before choosing a version.

Yes. Faction, Tower, Developer, and Chronicles are included.
Are the DLC missions required for the story?
No. They are optional missions. Nine achievements sit on them if you want the full list.
