Privacy policy
Checked 24 October 2026
This policy matches the scripts on the site as of 24 October 2026. Google Analytics 4 (G-PRT0SXJM4N), Microsoft Clarity (project z2m2dk5wq9) and Adsterra (publisher 3403020) load on the first view and stay on unless you press Reject. The Steam trailer file is requested only after you press play.
What loads, and when
Nothing on this page waits for an Accept click. On a first visit with no saved choice, the page treats the missing choice as granted, loads the three tags below, and then shows the cookie banner. The banner is a notice and a withdrawal tool, not a gate. Press Reject and the page records denied for 180 days, removes the Clarity and Adsterra scripts, hides the fixed ad bar, and sends Google a consent update that turns ad storage and analytics storage off.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google). The page loads the Google tag gtag.js from https://www.googletagmanager.com/ with id G-PRT0SXJM4N and sends page-view and event data to https://*.google-analytics.com and https://*.analytics.google.com. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_PRT0SXJM4N (two years each). Purpose: measure pages and traffic. This is default-on measurement with a Reject opt-out; the initial default is not evidence of affirmative consent. Retention: Google keeps event data for the period set in the property, two months by default and up to fourteen months. Google privacy terms and opt-out: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft). The page loads https://www.clarity.ms/tag/z2m2dk5wq9 and sends session events to https://*.clarity.ms. Microsoft documents _clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID and MR among its possible identifiers; actual cookies vary with browser restrictions, region and vendor behavior. Purpose: heatmaps and session replay so layout problems are visible. Form inputs are masked by Clarity by default. Default-on with a Reject opt-out; no claim of prior affirmative consent is made. Retention: recordings are kept for 30 days; aggregated heatmap data follows Microsoft's retention schedule at https://privacy.microsoft.com/.
- Adsterra (Adsterra). The page loads NativeBanner_1 unit 31895710 and SocialBar_1 unit 31895711 from https://bicea.org/. Publisher id 3403020. Adult ads are switched off in the Adsterra panel. Adsterra may use vendor session, frequency-cap and viewability keys in cookies and localStorage; the vendor chooses those names and can change them, so we do not invent first-party names for them. Purpose: show the two placements and count impressions. Default-on with a Reject opt-out; no claim of prior affirmative consent is made. Retention: set by Adsterra; see https://adsterra.com/cookies/.
- Steam CDN (Valve). The trailer is a click-to-play file on cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com. Until you press play, the page requests nothing from Steam. After play, Valve's server sees the IP address that fetched the MP4. We do not set a Steam cookie ourselves and we do not embed YouTube on this site.
- First-party storage. metroredux.consent holds {v, ads, at}: your ads and analytics choice, a version, and the timestamp. metroredux.adsterra.closed holds 1 after you close the fixed Social Bar, so it stays closed until you clear site data. Fonts and images are files this site ships; no font CDN is called.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Storage | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| metroredux.consent | metroredux.org | Ads and analytics choice, version and timestamp | localStorage | 180 days, then treated as missing |
| metroredux.adsterra.closed | metroredux.org | Remembers that the fixed ad bar was closed | localStorage | Until site data is cleared |
| _ga | Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes browsers for aggregate reports | Cookie | 2 years |
| _ga_PRT0SXJM4N | Google Analytics 4 | Keeps the G-PRT0SXJM4N session state | Cookie | 2 years |
| _clck | Microsoft Clarity | Persists the Clarity user id | Cookie | 1 year |
| _clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Joins page views into one recording | Cookie | 1 day |
| CLID | Microsoft Clarity | Identifies a returning Clarity visitor | Cookie | 1 year |
| MUID, MR | Microsoft Clarity (clarity.ms) | Microsoft user id and session routing | Cookie | 1 year / session |
| Adsterra vendor keys | Adsterra (bicea.org) | Frequency cap, viewability, session | Cookies and localStorage | Vendor-set; see adsterra.com/cookies |
Default load, Reject, and GPC
The tags above load by default on the first view. If you have no saved choice, the page treats the missing choice as granted, loads Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra, and then shows the banner. Press Reject and the page writes denied in metroredux.consent for 180 days, removes the Adsterra and Clarity script elements, hides the fixed bar, and calls gtag('consent','update') with ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage set to denied. Open Cookie settings in the footer and press Accept to turn them back on. Merely opening settings does not change your choice. Reject reloads the page to stop already-executed third-party code; later loads request none of the three tags while rejection remains valid. If the browser exposes navigator.globalPrivacyControl, the page records denied on every load and loads none of the three.
No sentence on this page says a tag waits for an Accept click, because none does. The Steam trailer is separate: it is a click-to-play file and loads after you press play. Requests observed in the local browser included www.googletagmanager.com and www.google-analytics.com (Google), www.clarity.ms, scripts.clarity.ms and regional *.clarity.ms collectors (Microsoft), and bicea.org (Adsterra). Adsterra may select additional creative-delivery hosts; those are advertising requests, not a fourth analytics provider.
Personalized advertising and your choices
Adsterra may personalize ads using its own signals. You can limit personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, DAA YourAdChoices controls. Adsterra does not offer a per-visitor opt-out page; pressing Reject removes its scripts from this site for 180 days, which is the control this site provides. We do not run Google AdSense, a popunder, a smartlink or a third ad network. Adult ads are off. The ads.txt file declares only adsterra.com, publisher 3403020.
Your rights and contact
You can ask for a copy, a correction, deletion, or a restriction on processing, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email [email protected]. We have no account database to export; the consent and bar keys live in your browser and clearing site data removes them. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority. We will update this page and its date when a vendor or key changes.
Questions
Do you use advertising cookies?
Adsterra may set its own cookies for the two placements; availability and names depend on browser controls. We do not set a first-party ad cookie; metroredux.consent only remembers your choice.
How do I change my choice?
Use Cookie settings in the footer. Accept and Reject rewrite metroredux.consent for 180 days, and Reject reloads the page with all three providers disabled, preventing already-executed scripts from continuing.
Why did an ad load before I clicked anything?
The site uses a default-on notice: the scripts load on the first view and the banner lets you withdraw. Reject turns them off and is remembered for 180 days.
How do I delete the stored choice?
Remove metroredux.consent and metroredux.adsterra.closed in your browser's site data, or press Reject after opening Cookie settings.
