Metro 2033 Redux

What this version is

4A Games rebuilt the 2010 first chapter with the Last Light engine and that game's combat framework. Deep Silver published it. Steam's release date field says 25 August 2014. The original Metro 2033, app 43110, came out on 16 March 2010 under THQ and is no longer sold on Steam.

Redux adds Last Light character models, new lighting, first-person story scenes, a day and night cycle, diaries, safes and keys, and the Survival and Spartan rules. Ranger Mode, the Abzats, and the Volt Driver from the old Ranger Pack are included. There is no separate 2033 Redux DLC to buy. It does not include Last Light.

Survival, Spartan, and Ranger

Survival is the resource-conscious, survival-horror choice. Spartan is the more combat-oriented choice. The store describes different AI and pacing; no fixed movement or resource multipliers are verified here. Ranger is a separate difficulty choice with reduced interface assistance and harsher combat.
