Metro: Last Light Redux is the 2014 remaster of Metro: Last Light, not a from-scratch remake. The remake in this collection is Metro 2033 Redux. Last Light's story is set in 2034 and continues the destructive ending of the first game.

What you are buying

Steam app 287390 lists 4A Games and Deep Silver, with the same 25 August 2014 store date as Metro 2033 Redux. The original Last Light shipped in May 2013. Redux is the version still sold. It is one half of Metro Redux. It does not include 2033.

On 24 October 2026 the English Steam review line was Very Positive, 88% of 21,414 reviews. Steam's API also surfaces a Metacritic score of 76 for the PC release. Both numbers move, so treat them as that day's snapshot.

Where it sits in the story

Play 2033 Redux first. Its destructive ending is the one Last Light continues. Last Light's good ending, Redemption, is the one Metro Exodus continues. The bad ending is C'est la vie. Point rules are on endings, neither 108 logged opportunities nor a quoted 110 weighted score establishes an official guaranteed threshold. Level names are on the walkthrough. No. 4A describes 2033 Redux as the rebuild. Last Light Redux is the 2014 remaster of the 2013 game, with the DLC included.

Does it include the DLC?

Yes. Faction, Tower, Developer, and Chronicles are in Redux. There is no extra season pass to buy.
