These values come from the detailed Single-Player Average table, not the rounded headline figures at the top of HowLongToBeat. The standalone story averages add up to 19h 00m; the standalone completionist averages add up to 52h 57m. The bundle row is an independent sample, not their sum.

The bundle page has only 36 main-story polls, 19 main-plus-sides polls and 10 completionist polls (65 across all play styles). Its roughly 55-hour completionist figure is especially sensitive to a small sample. These are community-reported averages, not official estimates or times recorded by this site.

What to budget for

• Both stories: allow roughly 18–19 hours around the two sets of averages, before your own exploration and retries.
• Story plus side activities: the independent bundle poll is around 24 hours; adding the two standalone averages gives 25h 56m. These are different survey groups.
• Full achievement routes need both play styles, both endings and Last Light's extra missions. Read the 2033 and Last Light plans instead of treating a survey category as a guaranteed achievement schedule.
• HowLongToBeat does not split these tables by Survival, Spartan, Ranger or the 2026 update. No fixed mode penalty can be calculated from this data.
