Metro 2033 Redux achievements

Metro 2033 Redux lists 49 Steam achievements. Plan a Spartan completion and a Survival completion, with a different ending on each run. Ranger difficulty is not an additional completion requirement on this Redux list. The checklist below focuses on the tasks easiest to confuse or miss.
A two-run plan
- Choose Spartan for one completion (Spartan 2033) and Survival for the other (Survivor 2033). These are play styles, separate from difficulty.
- Use one run for a careful Enlightened route and the other for If It's Hostile, You Kill It. See ending instructions before Tower.
- Schedule Front Line's no-kill and all-enemies tasks separately. Do not assume a single chapter visit can satisfy both.
- Finish cumulative weapon and collection tasks before starting over; back up saves and check the platform achievement list rather than rely on an unverified save-split shortcut.

| Quick Draw | In Hunter, kill the nosalises before they break through the ventilation grilles. |
| Scrooge | Hold 1,000 military-grade rounds at once; spending reduces the reserve. |
| DJ Artyom | Broadcast the radio message from Outpost. |
| Weaponsmith | Get a kill with each weapon type required by the guide, rather than merely pick it up. |
The remaining list includes weapon-kill, trading, healing and story tasks. S29 supplies the full route; its overlapping summary categories should not be added up as separate achievement groups. Steam confirms 49 achievements. Community trophy listings add a PlayStation platinum, giving 50 trophies; this is not a second Steam total.
Which official update addressed achievements?
The 22 October 2026 next-gen patch notes (S7) say achievements that failed to unlock, including one labelled "Armorer" in those notes, and offline progress synchronisation were fixed. Do not infer a weapon-crafting requirement from that patch-note label. The 23 October hotfix (S9) separately lists Steam Overlay and Epic achievement fixes. Those are different updates. Neither source says keeping the Steam overlay enabled is a universal requirement for every achievement.
If progress still fails, record the exact achievement, store and build, remove conflicting mods safely, and contact support with the reproduction steps. The official notes report fixes; this site has not retested every unlock. Use the chapter checklist to locate the relevant section.

49 on Steam. Community PlayStation trophy listings show 50 including the platinum.
Do I need Ranger Hardcore for 100%?
The Redux completion achievements are Spartan 2033 and Survivor 2033, plus the two ending achievements. Do not import the original game's Ranger Pack requirements.
Can I knock guards out for Merciful?
No. Black Station must be completed without killing or knocking out enemies.
